Your metabolism spikes everytime you eat. If you eat one meal a day, your metabolism will spike only once. If you eat more frequently (not skipping meals) your body developes more of a steady curve and raises your overall metabolism. I do agree with you, however, that someone should not eat constantly. If you're trying to lose weight it is ideal to have about 4 healthy, well balanced meals a day. It is key to have meals, not "snacks"

I'm trying to gain weight. I weigh 145 lbs and I max out on bench press at 195 lbs.I ran CC and Track in highschool. I consume about 3500 calories a day but I don't gain weight very fast. I find it easier to lose weight than gain it. |
