actually one spawn of bettas can be raised in a very large tank and can live happily. you see they did an expirment that with a group of bettas males and females alike could coexist in a cummunity tank since birth but if a new betta or diffrent fish were to be introduced it could mess everything up, theyare probably just fry but you could probably jar them, it is certain that some fish will show aggressive tendencys to other bettas in the tank and those few should be removed
