My opinion is subjective, as I stated. Vinnie Apiece, I am assuming is who you are referring to, is an exceptional drummer in his genre. Again this is my opinion; he is not as versatile as Chambers. Gadd, I'm not too familiar with as I was never a huge Mangione fan. I've heard many of Chuck's recordings and think the percussion has always been good, but never really focused on it. I would like to hear more. He's also played with Weather Report, IMO one of the best contemporary Jazz outfits

i've never really enjoyed chambers that much, always thought he overplayed and his solos were too "bitty" and didn't flow. The first two minutes provoked this thought again, however, i was very impressed with that funk groove he was laying down. My head has been turned slightly!! Out of curiosity how does a chambers fan like yourself rate vinnie or gadd? Im only asking, not starting a world war!lol
