while Midnight Cowboy may be disturbing to some, it is a powerful film of grit, friendship, and battling personal demons. It is artistically shot in urban montage. Not intended for the Waltons set but for thinkers. The song Everybody's talking combines an upbeat happy go lucky feel to a manic/depressive up-down escape-ism to the lyrics. The song perfectly represents the themes in the movie.
