Thanks for the updated information. We were in Elkmont in June 2008 to see the fireflies. We noticed that many of the houses were falling down and did not see any indication that they would be repaired (it was undergoing a 'study' with the park service). Glad to see they are fixing them.

We are very excited that they are saving some of the houses. I stayed in one around 1970. I hope the house that we stayed in, is one of houses that will be saved.
