My favourite Waifs song and favourite Australian band; this song is so beautifully expressed without a so-called beautiful voice. I'm not sure why but I think of a cross between The Corrs and Suzanne Vega; no pretension, just heartfelt and honest, well-written music on a touching subject.

The Waifs are one of the most natural and level headed groups ever. Such pure and beautiful voices,(NOT enhances like the crap you get from other "performers").Yes, have seen them live, in Australia, and they are fantastic. You feel their songs and they feel the audience. Real music. Thanks

i love this song! the first time i heard it at i teared up at the line that goes something about "leaving her southern land (Australia)" and i was all that would be so hard to do!
