Less than 20% coral is in good condition here.Australian Government distorts great barrier reef as good place and makes it seems like it is far better than it is.Best reefs are in Indonesia and Philippines.Barrier reef is dying from variety of reasons including too many tourists in too smaller areas.Not worth the visit there unless you have big bucks for the outer reef.
