I do see what you mean. Cara lowers her voice too much, as beautiful as it is...I like this song because my hair is jet-black also! I get asked about it all the time. I've resorted to telling them I descended from indians!

when you hear other versions of this song from judy collins/christy moore /emile latimer/etc they fall into the shade .compared to this beautiful version by cara . she has the voice of an angel . and this live performance with the orchestra is outstanding from start to finish .
