I love Angelique! I'm from the CAribbean and this sounds so similar to merengue! Tumba is the name of main drum used in merengue, does anyone knows the actual meaning?

I've been to the concert of Angelique Kidjo september 21, in Tilburg.The Netherlands.She's so great!!Been on stage with her, WOW!You can't sit still you have to move on the rythms!

oh my goodness is right. i remember hearing this song for the first time and absolutely losing my mind while dancing. now i know why. see what it does to people. so, music IS universal. and i still don't know what is toumba :)!
