Hello, they are going to give a border to my me collie for navidad and I have to find out.It(He,She) is that I have never had a dog and in addition I have a cat, me teneis that to be informing about the elegant ones... Thank you.

I had a border collie mix for 14 years and it was the best dog I ever had. I was in high school when we got him, I took him out for a run, and he cut left to herd me. Put me right on my backside!Great video - thanks!

I read that many farmers are turning back to herding dogs such as border collies to help with rounding up livestock, since they are less expensive, easy on the environment (they're natural...duh),and do a superior job. I just think it's incredible how much dogs can learn. It's also cool how border collies seem to just naturally want to round up livestock...instincts are awesome. I love dogs.

Anyone tell me where I can get supplies such as a crook and info on different whistles for the different commands. My Diesel works cattle but I can see after my herding school I need a few sheep to hone his skills and mine ... mostly mine. I know a skilled handler can train them on cattle but thats the problem, I'm no skilled handler but we both love it. Very hard to find a supplier with reasonable prices for a "CANE" lol Thanks for your help

aww, i have a border collie too.when she was younger, i would play with her in the yard, and when i would run she would always bite my ankles. i guess this is y. also, when i walk her, if she sees a dog even a block away, she'll lay down and wait, as if she was getting ready to pounce or play or something. its so cute, but if im in hurry it gets annoying because she wont move. lol
