The only reason scientists would believe in God would be to get easy answers to mysteries which do not yet have a scientific explanation (such as the start of the universe).Because there are some things which are left unanswered, does that mean the only answer is God?

Jesus stopped them from stoning the women that commited adultry. we have no right to judge those who sin, but it's left up to God. i do not believe pple are born gay. i wasn't speaking through a Christian stand point but from an athiests. a Christian doesn't just say "i believe in God. ok, now if there is a God, i won't go to heck". they say they believe becuz they truly do. and it's not just for dumb pple. if so, there wouldn't be any theologians or scientists that believe.

You can have morals without following them from the Bible. If every moral you have is from the Bible, then you should be stoning people who commit adultery and look down on homosexuals.As for the chance of you going to heaven, doesn't that just prove that you only 'believe' in it because you are scared of the consequences? Do you really want to live a deluded life?

actually, i'm not sure if u've noticed, but there's alot of athiests insulting God and Christians on these comments.through my life i've had many convincing times that help me to believe God is real and Christianity is right. not only that, but the morals of Christianity seem to make the msot sense. and if God does exist and isn't a Christian God, at least there was more of a chance of me going to heaven having true faith in 1 religion then none at all.

Atheists don't attack God. They simply use their logic to come to a conclusion that God does not exist.About that 'what if God does exist' statement:what if God does exist, but he's not the Christian God?The Bible is just as likely to be wrong as other religious texts.

the bible has held up to many attacks. and for any who read this, jsut for a minute i would like u to imagine this : "what if God does exist?" wouldn't it be it important to know the truth before u die, before it's to late, that u should at least look for the truth, instead of just insult God without any knowledge at all on Christianity? ok, imagine if u did die and u were about to be judged and u knew where u were going. some 1 would have even more fear than being held up by a gang.
