If only I knew this BEFORE I got my puppy from a backyard breeder.I am very very passionate about animals, and when I find the time next year, I will do ALL that I can to stop animal abuse.And I simply can't this year. One because I have a huge poisonous spider bite on my foot and two because this year will be my busiest year. So I promise, next year.

I once saw many of that little baby in Nanjing China. The seller put many of them in one bos. They even piled up when they sleep so they feel warm. A big Golden Retriever & many Siberian Husky only can stand up & lying down cause the cage is too small for them. BUT THEY JUST DON'T CARE!!! they only want to make money...money...money...Anyone can rescue them????? I really want to make some changement here in china....

Dear God - I see too much of this. I am aRescuer & member of many Animal Rights orgs. Also please save the Bengal cats...here & in Norway, if possible. There is one who is inbreeding & selling for way too much! Some have died from his process...

I always adopt. for a few reasons, 1. I know it's odd...But I really hate the puppy/kitten-hyper-stage. This can be avoided by adopting one that is all growed up already :)2. I worked in a major chain bigbox petstore for several years. I know what happens behind the scenes, I know where the animals come from, because I have seen it with my own eyes. The puppy mills are not the only concern. There is more. Much more. by buying from stores, you are contributing to the problem.

Please don't be "comforted" by HSUS and other organizations...we are mostly volunteers. There is never enough time in the day to address these abuses (dog fighting and hoarding as well as puppymills.YOU can be a part of raising awareness, to get legislation passed and ENFORCED. Each one of us can "make a difference". Volunteer locally.Promise NEVER to buy an animal from pet shops or backyard breeders. Neuter your pet at 6mos... Adopt companion animals from local shelters!

Its comforting to know that organizations like the Humane Society are doing something about puppy mills and animal abuse which is a terrible problem. It's cool that they're helping to promote social action groups like Truth On Earth and their hard-core music video covering Factory Farming.

HSUS, A couple of days ago, Miliwaukee,WI raided & rescued 1,100 dogs from Puppy Mill!I rescued a Peke,"Shina-Cinnabar who was abused,& from Puppy Mill.She lived 18 year of love with me & turned from'cowardly lion' to 'BraveHeart'!,Also said,"Mama". My current rescue is Albino Pekingese,left in cage & never let out 1st 1&l/2 yr.s of life.Now he is free,runs like wind, Love & Joy,"Mama's Heaven Child".Star on my YT Channel. I've loved all 4 Pekingese who came into my life for Rescue. - Penny |
