I live in Germany and here you cannot buy dogs and cats from pet stores but only directly from the breeder or adopt them from the pound.That way no company, no store can cause a demand big enough for puppy mills to exist.

I never knew of this, until today. I am sadden by the ugly truth. Hopefully, awareness shall awaken some humane into us humans.

This film is very heart-warming as well as eye-opening.I never knew of the atrocities of puppy mills until I watched this, best of wishes to these people and the animals they save.

@ShaggyKitty yeah as far as I know there is things like that on the television of the rspca rescuing puppy mills and putting the owner ijn jail because its illegal to put animals in these conditions . I saw A kitten once and everyone was ringing up and complaining iv enevr in my life seen a puppy so Im glad and i hope america soon makes it so.

@SofeDofe It's illegal in England? thats fantastic! its usually farmers that have puppy mills so its great to hear England cracked down on it. Thanks to Opera and private organizations, its safe to say that most Americans know where pet store pups come from, but unfortunately theres an ignorant and ghetto population that love to buy dogs from pet stores. Makes me think the authorities could be getting some kind of kick-back for not shutting it down here in the states.

i'm so glad this is illegal in my country england to sell in pet stores dogs or kittens is illegal and so are puppy mills i have no idea why its legal n america but still |
