Wind is a great way to phase out other dirty fuels and needs to be in place before electric cars are on the road in just a few years.Everyone needs to helpCNG Gas cars can be fueled in your own garage if you have natural gas at your home and you can drive 200 miles on a tankAll car makers make CNG cars today The 2008 Honda Civic is my favorite but Ford makes a F100 if you want a truckThere is no reason to wait and no need to use funky addons from unknown companies.

Cyscaling, you neglect to mention that Pickens also publicly promised Kerry one million dollars for his favorite charity if Kerry could disprove a single swiftboater assertion. You lefties throw about perjorative terms like "neocon" because your arguments are specious and baseless.

Are you just stupid? 10KW is a power output...

His voice is so hot, it makes me want to shove a banjo up my cunt and let him have sex with my ass.

nobody cares that you own a company and how much it makes, but you make a good point about this man with such a sweet sweet voice. He's not trustworthy.
cyscaling (August 28, 2008 at 9:52 pm)
Is it just me or does anyone not trust a guy named T Boone? He donated millions to Kerry's swift boat necons for truth.

".05/kwh" is a clear reference to cost. Your interpretation doesn't make sense.Nobody's proposing the whole country be powered by wind. The reason I'm in this debate is b/c it kills me that people blatantly oppose an efficient, domestic energy source. My statement: efficient wind farms produce energy at or below $.05/kwh. That's FIVE CENTS OR LESS per kilowatt hour. Industrialized nations use wind in their energy mix. Beyond debate, a genuine question: Why do you oppose it so strongly?
dshaun67 (August 28, 2008 at 5:12 pm)
I own a company developing 10kw composite windmills, so yes there are good people doing good work with the best intentions, but this guy isn't one of us. He talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk. He's after the money bags congress is getting ready to cut loose for alternative energy. People like him prey on ignorance and profit from it.

Where should we get news and information then?
AirCargoHeavy (August 28, 2008 at 3:25 pm)
Watch this guy and do your research--don't get your news from YouTube. This sounds good, but there's a lot to know about beneath the surface. |
