I love Bowie but he would have been just a half without the classically trained sounds of Ronno!! What a combination! There really is a god.... R.I.P. Ronno!!

Thanks so much for posting. Evokes great memories of when I bought 'Slaughter on 10th Avenue' and 'Play Don't Worry'. Bought a Les Paul when I was 14 on the strength of that. Good old Lou would be more than happy to admit that 'Transformer' wouldn't have that raunchy and well crafted production angle without Mick's pragmatic and diligent production. Sadly missed. Great post!

This era had something special. Wish I could be there too back then :'( Growing Up And I'm Fine is such a nice tune. It really shows Bowie's potential once again since he wrote it. I mean, give songs like All the young dudes and Growing up and I'm fine :D Nice present from Bowie :)
