As usual there is the battle of who is better,Jaco? Victor? Stanley? Marcus? Hell, what about Charlie Mingus, no one ever talks about him?The answer is ALL OF THEM ARE GOOD.I love Jaco,but at the same time, I dig Marcus and Stanleyand I used to NOT like Victor, now that my tiny brain has opened up, I dig Victor.So enjoy all the bass players and promote this thing called Jazz.

NO ONE can match JACO. He is and will always be the BEST! I have watch Jaco in many forums.. At UM as a teach and playing many local venues.. He was a friend and my inspirtion.. We will always miss him!!!

Wooten is very good skill-wise, don't get me wrong, but I still think no one can match Pastorius when it comes to sheer speed and technical playing.

this guy is awesome.but im going to have to say..victor wooten is better skill wise. victor wooten is just naturally more.. skillful.. and victor wooten just has the funk in him.
