Lindsey Williams, who has been an ordained Baptist minister for 28 years, went to Alaska in 1971 as a missionary. The Transalaska oil pipeline began its construction phase in 1974, and because of Mr. Williams' love for his country and concern for the spiritual welfare of the "pipeliners," he volunteered to serve as Chaplain on the pipeline, with the subsequent full support of the Alyeska Pipeline Company. Because of the executive status accorded to him as Chaplain, he was given access to information documented in his eye opening book, The Energy Non-Crisis. After numerous public speaking engagements in the western states, certain government officials and concerned individuals urged Mr. Williams to put into print what he saw and heard, stating that they felt this information was vital to national security. Mr. Williams firmly believes that whoever controls energy controls the economy. Thus, The Energy Non-Crisis. http://www.lwoil.com

Hemp is the solution to oil and pollution. But as long as the greedy oil tycoons are in charge we'll never see hemp in this country. It was wrongly tied to marijuana because it comes from the same plant, except hemp is the version you cannot get high off of and can make all kinds of things with it including bio deisel and ethanol, it is illegal in this country. That needs to change!

I don't believe an inventor is created in a school...they are natural born inventors. Just read some of their bios. Even as children, many of them exhibited unusually high abilities to invent things.

no problem (^_^)

How about the thousands of citizens who die of smog pollution in Mexico City (not to mention the numbers in China or LA) every year? Or the children who are born mentally handicapped because of it? You really think more oil is the answer? Give me a break. That shit is poison!

GENIUS! Thanks for the link. The MAGLEV train in China or Japan is a super version of an electric train using magnets. Super fast and clean

You wouldn't harvest it in a pond or the ocean. Check this out:/watch?v=cyoKTbxerpQAlgae is definitely not the only answer though. We also need to build mass transportation systems all across the country. It's kind of disgusting what a pathetic public transportation system a major city like LA has for example. But I think what we really need is fast efficient electric powered public/private transportation which reaches all across the country (including to major agriculture land).

Good ideas. How come you dont need boat fuel to harvest algae?Doesnt too much algae do something to fish beneath it?

We actually can feed people. The problem is the annual percentage growth of the population which scares me. And I believe that you are right that something potentially will be done if we can't get it under control. We need to give up ignorance and educate. We need to give up fear &anything that leads to falsified awareness. We need to help people help themselves whether it be from the top down or the bottom up. There's a lot of hate ignorance in this world. People NEED to be happy with humanity.

uhm.. I'll go with alternative energy. Algae is a better biodiesel in my opinion. It doesn't require extra fuel for harvesting like crop grown biodesels. Also, harvesting the sun's energy, as well as thermal energy from the Earth's core, and wind energy are great alternatives. It's times like these I just wish I were an inventor. Damn education system!
