you know once you get past the whole douchebag aspect of colin farrell, you can start to see that hes actually a pretty good actor which i have noticed in quite a few of his movies.

of coarse it is not his accent he is not playing himself he is playing a guy from tallagh. he does not speak like that anyway, yes he has a dublin accent but he is making it thicker for this film.
