well thanks, im glad someone does. I would even bet that the repair only took 12 hours to do, after all the investigating was done. just pop off the leading edge , light and repair the rib and viola the plane hunts down the next unsuspecting container, or bird. funny to watch and im glad the people on the plane have a sense of humor about it, i like the laughing.

Well i dont know how far it is over the line it was before it got knocked over. but if you pause at 1:34 it would appear to me that there was plenty of room. Its just the way things work in aviation... if a 737 is aloud to use that taxi, then there should be more like 15 meeters of space on each side, not just a couple of feet. anyways... doesnt really matter... shit happens... and the structure guys like myself must have been happy they got a good job to fix. beats corrosion prevention .

Yh it looked like the containers fault because if you see at 1:40 The container on the ground is passing the white line but the other one is a good 3-4 ft away from the line. Which isnt that far but Good?

haha well, i guess the inquiry would tell you. To me, the food truck looks like it was within the lines before it was hit. even if its a foot over the line... the plane should have had more then enough room . Im no "future pilot" but i have been around this stuff a long time . i can assure you its pilot error. The person who parked there is supposed to (thats what the white lines are for.) im not making this stuff up. |
