For all we know this has been happening for 1000's of years, and we just recently have be able to measure it, and got all freaked out.

The ozone layer isnt being depleted, its being displaced. If you watch a video of it forming and healing over whatever year, you'll notice that the ozone layer around the hole is double the thickness. All the ozone from the hole is sitting there until the ice cap cools down again, and the ozone goes back. I'm thinking that maybe moisture coming up from the caps every 'spring/summer' is pushing it out of the way temporaraly.

My question is what is pushing it out of the way? Perhaps evaporating moisture from the ice caps every 'spring' ?

Yeah we're all worried about the Ozone depleting but it will eventually repair itself, if you haven't noticed it's already started.

All the governments have to do is put laws on being inefficient and if anyone breaks those laws give them the death penalty. Things will change pretty fast then.
