This sounds like nonsense to me. Find a baby with no mum and dad? None such exists! Adoption takes babies from their mum and dad, brothers and sisters and grandparents; adoption desecrates the sacred bond between mother and child; adoption destroys families; adoption damages the emotional well-being of both baby and mother. Please, consider other sources of information before deciding to take someone else's child to raise as your own. Prospective adoptive parents, you need wisdom AND love.

Excuse me, I was quick to judge. But your comparison with Kasparov and the word "play" sounded unfitting to me to describe what Piper says. I guess that they would fit in the vocabulary of a "massive fan" (fanatic), but they would have no room in that of a disciple of Jesus. But I find I acted like a Piper fan too, like he needed someone to defend him. So I won't do it any more.

I am a massive Piper fan, and I thought I would pay him a heartfelt and honest compliment. I am a father, husband and brother who is attempting to pursue the Faith with integrity. So no, I have not adopted, but who made you my judge?
