This is our 85 gallon community aquarium which we set up in October 2007. We bought all the fish as babies last year and they've grown huge. As a result, the fish tank is very overcrowded. I am diligent with water quality and try to change 60% every 2 weeks or so. I know I'll be criticized for the number of fish. It was an experiment to see if this random group could "hang" together. So far so good. This tank is unusual not only for the variety of species but the size variences which range from 1/2 inch to 9+ inches.

yep, they just keep on living and growing. i've removed the colwater fish.

i had never seen any of these fishes except the silver plecos and that goldfish with the big red eyes

I suppose, I just don't really see them as rare because I see them all the time, but I suppose they may be harder to find else where.

I saw them listed in a Piranha blog. I believe this is a popular store for unusual species. Many of my fish are "rarely seen" in fish stores. If you doubt this, do a youtube search for them. Start with the first two I mentioned to you. I didn't meant to imply that they were truly "rare". If so, they woulded be considered endangered and therfore illegal to own.

yep they got all of them, I forget the name its a little personally owned store near me, its in california and city cypress.
