The security stickers being on all three sides of the DVD is complete bullshit yes. A security sticker on the top of the DVD is enough.

I totally agree with you! Or, they get you excited about releasing DVDs in a set (yet don't express at that time, that there may be a box set in the end) and you spend your time and money, buying all the single DVDs. And then a box set comes out. I've learned to just wait for box sets.
