Little - As an old broad who has been through many changes/progressions, I'll try to explain. I think you do know and are being a smartass, I'll go into detail nonetheless. Before "grunge", we who enjoyed rock music were subjected to hair bands with no talent and lots of dental work. "Grunge" brought back the essence of rock and took the pansy facetious garbage and put it on the back burner. Lack of talent became obvious. Get it?

wtf is grunge? this is the same thing neil young was doing 40years ago id say grunge is muddy sound and incoherent babbling lyrics but pearl jame is clear sounding and i can understand what chris cornell is saying so i dont understand what grunge is?
