I used to think all modern music sucks, that's why I turned to classical, but I was wrong there are some great bands around now and have been in the recent past Blur for instance.You are only 20. Yeah that 60's revolution is over and it was awesome. But you are young enough to start another.

i was born in 88. i only listen to the classics,from allman brothers to yes. i dont listen to anything made in my generation. i get depressed sometimes cause i know the times of culture and spiritul revolution are long gone and will never come back lol. im ashamed of my generation, people are way too materialistic and the music means NOTHING. no creativity, no point, no originality. music has become a fashion statement and something to make money,its supposed to be poetry,art and expression.

Early disco was great!--I love old Donna Summer and Thelma Houston--the soundtrack to "Looking for Mr Goodbar" is one of my favourites--but it degenerated into silliness when a bunch of middle-aged guys started wearing polyester suits and medallions....Thanks for your comment!

Hey, you were never born too late to be born with class! Good on your for loving the classics--I was born in '64, but I didn't care for disco or punk. And I still have the first records I ever bought myself, because I still love them! Cheers!
