i could say that metalcore,screamcore,emocore,screamo,noisecore, ect are all subgenres are hardcore or that PTW is described by wikipedia as a post-hardcore/experimental band.or i could just say WORD.....

Just to clear things up they are not hardcore, being as hardcore is a subgenre of punk.They are metalcore, which is just a fusion of hardcore and metal music.IMO Metalcore is the best genre of music out there!

i agree man i hate the whole sub genre of core....its hardcore......thats it its music damn good music to thats all that matters...dont label it theres no need ....its already labeled as kick ass:D!!!!

i agree with you about all the little core terms. but hardcore is more specifically a blending of new school punk and metal that can be used to generalize a genre of music that is definitely not metal and definitely not punk rock. poison the well fits into this genre. |
