Thought to be the worst football injury ever seen - David Busst shatters his right leg playing for Coventry against Man Utd.I found this video quite randomly, but thought some people might be interested, so I uploaded it. Even though the angle is bad it's had a lot of interest - I think it's a hard clip to find online, so I'm glad I saved it :)

I was about six rows back. As soon as we saw Schmeichel walking round in circles everyone looked at each other, we thought the guy might be dead or something. Then the physio came on and threw water over the pitch and all the blood sloshed over the touchline, and there was a collective 'oh my god'. No-one gave a shit about the result after that.

Nice save by Schmeichel though apparently he threw up after seeing the injury.

I will never forget this day or Busst's terrible experience. United's win seem so insignificant compared to this cruel twist of fate. I'm just glad that his life is somewhat on track, but the poor fella must have had more than a few 'what if?' moments to himself over the years.
