Oahu is a damn jungle right now**see generic coconut trees on the damn road...you can tell that they took it from somewhere and put it in the middle of the street to make it look natural, might as well make some plastic coconuts to go with it* been there, and it's beautiful...heard the weed is good(*?*)

My mother and grandmother are buried at Ho'olehua and my great grandmother at Kalaupapa. When I go to visit them I want to be in Hawai'i, not a bastardized resort town with a bunch of rich folks who retired to Moloka'i. I hope the politicians and leaders in the state realize the impact that turning La'au into a housing development is going to have on the islands culture. I already live on the main land. Please don't try to turn Moloka'i into something it's not! Keep it Hawaiian. REAL Hawai'i.

A'OLE PONO..... now that you guyz have "saved La'au"... NOW WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!what about all of these people that are outta jobs...... no mo money....????? no can laddat... i dont think that you guys have looked at the whole picture... only what you wanted to see... i know that t he ranch hasn't been 100% in the past.. but it's time for change as you all say, i went to la'au last week and nobody was there.. Develop Hawai'i for Hawai'ians and Hawai'ians at heart not for the foreigners or for the wealthy. Money isn't everything. Stop raping the aina already. Why does Molokai ranch own so much of the island? Hawaiians take back your rightful lands. Because you paid for the land doesnt mean its yours. Hawai'i is Hawaiian land period.

1. Telling our kupuna that UPC Wind is the solution to Molokai's economic woes and leading a campaign to buy a company that is not for sale. 2. Leading a campaign of racism (Save La'au). What does "rich haole with million dollar home" mean? Just because someone is white and rich they are bad? Maybe the rich haole would have malama the aina. There are more rich haole's that live "green" than Hawaiians with broken cars in their yards, waste, and pollute. |
