Oasis is in my Top Five withou any doubts, but I have to agreed that half the time they should just keep theirs mouths shut.

That's true. Oasis influenced Kasabian and Arctic Monkeys so they have contributed something. All music is a contribution in the end.But I do think there is a lot to say for people who detract from music by their arrogant comments.I simply don't think that Oasis has nearly enough clout to back up their comments.

We can go song for song if you want. Alright, let's start with Oasis...uh...Wonderwall...uh...ummm...Live Forever?...uh...Now, Radiohead. OK Computer (rated #1 album EVER by a recent survey of UK residents), Kid A, In Rainbows - shit, what haven't they done?I don't mean to shit on Oasis, but no band is good enough to talk as much shit as they do. They simply aren't that good. The only bands that I know of that has labeled them an influence is the Artic Monkeys and Kasabain (both good bands)

how can someone "do" something for music anyway?? everyone's tastes are different and a band that caters for everyone is impossible.

id actually like oasis better than raidohead... what have raido head done for music

You know. I've tried hard to like Oasis - but I just don't get it. They claim to be so damn important to music - but what have they really contributed? The only album I have of theirs that I kept was Morning Glory. Eh - must be an English thing.Oh - and yes - Radiohead is much better. In Rainbows anyone? But to be honest, I hadn't known Oasis had released anything since Be Here Now. Doesn't look like I missed anything.I give the song a D+

Thank you. At least someone who agreeds with me. There's so much Kinks in Oasis, but speacilly in this song. Wich, of course, is not a bad thing.
