Sad fact: Campaigns go negative because it works. Compare the number of negative ads McCain has put out versus Obama and you'll see that Obama currently still holds the high ground relative to McCain. This is a really good ad targeting Nevada, whether or not an objective person thinks waste should be stored at Yucca Mountain.

The big problem with this ad is that it is talking about nuclear reactors of decades past. The Europeans have already created reactors that reuse the waste.But then again, Obama doesn't even know the basic nuclear history such as the world's first plutonium site.Why would we limit our sources for domestic energy? And before you talk about "nothing for 10 years", please realize 2030 is the goal for 35% less oil by Obama. Gap to be filled anyone?

i wouldnt call it a crime but yeah it was chosen as an ideal place for storing our nations spent nuclear fuel and now it seems like its never going to open which is just foolishif obama or mccain wants to build more nuclear power plants the only responsible thing to do is to open yucca

Yucca needs to be opened... It is FAR better then it sitting in warehouses around the country. Yucca was chosen to be the best dump site available. Not using it is a crime.

And that's the problem with nuclear energy. Where do you store the waste material? NOBODY wants in near them! Until and unless we have the nuclear waste problem solved, nuclear energy is not the way to go.
