I was living in that city at the time and weirdly, a few nights before this happened I passed the homeless guy on his bench where he would sit all night on newspapers. I could see he was vulnerable and said something like "be careful". He waved and smiled. Little did I know this would happen and all america would know about it. He really didn't deserve this.

I'll laugh when these kids get off on probation in 15 or 20 years (life never really means life in this country), get out of prison, can't find work, and become homeless themselves. And then most likely some punk kids will come around and knock the crap out of them.
