You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!!! As far as Continental- I have registration papers they mailed me (Just so I can show people) and I can pick up a 3 eyed basset something or another - who knows what mix and get a "witness" signature and register it as a blueblood Golden Retriever.... It's a farce-

I'm not a big fan of the Continental Kennel Club. It's a puppy mill trojan horse.BTw, why aren't Yorkies registered as terriers? They are terriers, just little ones. I call them little fluffy Jack Russells. I've known Yorkies that would hunt small animals with the tenacity of any of the larger terriers. They can't do earth dog trials, though, and I think this is a shame.

People who live on the border often register their dogs with the Canadian Kennel Club as well. I am more of a fan of the United Kennel Club because it's a much stricter registry that the AKC and Contentiental Kennel Club. Our litters (though we aren't breeding now) were registered with the UKC and the AKC. The UKC is a working dog registry, while the AKC doesn't put as much emphasis on the "total dog" concept.

There will be alot of promoting and advertising very soon to get more viewers to the site to browse, enjoy video's (Which I really want to see alot more of) and share with friends and family. Feel free to use the site. We will have to charge here soon but everyone already signed up will have free advertising extended for awhile for giving us the opportunity to have them. THANKS!

Alot of people don't know there are 2 CKC's and their differences. I need to hgave the programmer make a notation for the buyers benfit for this. There's the American All Breed, American Stock Dog...Gosh--They keep coming up with all sorts! I'll just have to keep close watch and also rely on many reputable breeders help in maintaining this sites integrity. I have had very good results so far from the site and alot of registered Breeders (Many Active Show Breeders.

3 is just to start! I prefer AKC/American Kennel Club and CKC/Canadian Kennel Club myself. Unfortunately we have a CKC that is Continental Kennel Club. You can register ANYTHING; pure or mix.

Interesting concept... how is it working out? I am Canadian, so we are the 'original' CKC! I understand you now have 'three' organizations that register your dogs. How confusing is that? I have been in and out of the states... Living in Wisconsin, Ohio and Washington! And believe me I have seen some 'sad' situations for dogs! Wonderful of you to be making this effort! Check out our video 'success that breeds on' WE'D LOVE to her YOUR comment! Blessings... Enticia of d n' e!

Don't worry about it! There's hundreds of thousands of people sharing your same opinion ;) Bringing everyone together willingly in front of the Gov't and State would make a tremendous difference. There's so much that can be done. It will take more than just you and I alone.I like your fire-- Youv'e got moxy!

I'm sorry yorkymom, I should have said.... I was replying to mia0899cs remarks. You yorkymom did nothing wrong... sorry again. I just get soooooo annoyed by the puppy mills and BYB'ers who sell mutts as designer dogs, like they are something special! Anyone who buys a 'designer' breed IS supporting puppy mills and BYBers. You are correct, they should be fined, have their pets removed, and go to jail!Again, my apologies....

These people should PAY for what they do---no piddly as* slap on the wrist and tiny fine.Hope I got my point across~ Thanks for your input! It is VERY important! |
