420witchdoctor...perhaps you are joking with us...but a female cougar averages between 75 and 105 lbs. and a male 115-160 according to Wikipedia. Maybe you are thinking about african lions.

Yeah this was totally staged!! the bear and the cougar were actually actors... If you look closely yuo will see the zippers in their customs. for the little cougar they used a midget. ........ People who think this is real are idiots...

Because bears eat other things other than meat they are not as aggressive in those situations as say an african lion who instintively wants to kill every carnivore who competes with him for food.

Like others have said on this site, this is a staged video with a trained bear. Do you really think a 1000 lb. brown bear would be afraid of a 120 lb. cougar? If it needed or wanted to kill this cougar, it could do so quickly. Duh! It neither wanted to or needed to. Brown bears as well as Polar bears are the dominant land animal in North America and are totally unbeatable. Agin, duh!
