They're getting so big because they're not being kept in bowls, and they're taken care of.

How in the world are these fish getting so big? Is it from a lot of food,breeding? Or could it be freaky fish steroids! O_o

I work at Petsmart, and yes they are much hardier. in my opinion much more active and pretty. No heaters, and if you buy small they are much cheaper!

well, actually- its good news, since I wrote the comment! My fish have stopped dying because I found the problem! :DSo, its back to tropical for me!!!

50 Liters (13 Gallons for us people in the US) is very small tank for Goldfish, unless you want to keep one or two young ones. Also be prepared to frequently perform partial water changes even with a hefty cannister filter and a wet dry unit as Goldfish produce lots of waste. Goldfish also are prone to infection, too. What caused your tropical fish to die? What type(s) of fish or fishes and how many did you have in the tank? What was the water chemistry like?
