The dog was biting the bull on the face, not the other way around. The only one getting hurt was the bull. Anyway, none of the animals were seriously injured in any way according to the commentary in the video.

The dog survived as well. I also found out the other day that british bulldogs were bred to fight and kill bears!

There's a little more effort involved than that to make a pit bull but it all depends what line you are talking about. Pits are nothing more than a sequence of crossbreeds and a purebred Pit doesn't really exist. The two most famous lines are Crenshaw's for his red noses and Wallace's for his black noses, while I dont know Wallace's line as well as I'd like to I am a breeder of Crenshaw's reds which have in their ancestry Ridgebacks, Weimeraners, Presa Canario's and much more.

it was an english bull terrior. This dog bred with a bulldog makes a pit bull.(I think) but this dog was an eglidh bulldog. Theres a full version that shows it up close after this event.
