I want a Chesapeake bay retriever so bad!!! To bad there are only 2 breeder's in Maryland that I know of and as of now they don't have any male pups. (I don't want to deal with females in heat)

That's a beautiful dog KerrieT07.I had a Female Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Rayna but she was put down last year due to her brain maybe not functioning well, we had her for 3 years, ever since she was a few weeks old... :(I am going to make a tribute video to her.

That's fabulous. I'm so happy that you were able to go through the treatment and he's ok now. Now, be sure to keep him on heartworm medicine each month and it'll prevent your Chessie from having to go through that headache again.... and it could even save his life in the future. How old is your dog?

this is my new account [this drake] [my names not really drake]and well he made it!the first couple days after the shots the docter said he could die becuz the mdicin is poisinis and could kill him but he didnt die!yayhe lost alot of weight so we gave him canned dog food till he brought the weight back up then we started giving him dry dog food againoh and btw ill send you a video in couple minutes showing u my dog mack [the chessie]

morgon is adorable. i have 2 chessies myself i have a deadgrass and a seige colored chessie . bo and day r there names. chesapeake bay retirevers rule. i love chessies best dogs ever.

i have chessies there so adorealble one has a hole in his heart and has weird attacks but now his attacks are more like seshzeers and he has a pretty good chance of dying and then we have another chessie shes 11 months so adoreable she looks just like the puppy on there morgan. we had another one but she unfortanlly died she was thirteen in people years so she was overe 100 now shes 15 and in heven i always miss her well i liked the video and my heart is for your chessies heart i know how it is.

Drake - I'm very sorry to hear about your dog having heartworms. Depending on how advanced the heartworms are, there are treatments which might be able to help him. My thoughts are with you and your Chessie.
