Amazing adventure , being the fastest boat doesn't automatically mean winning .I believe they missed beating the existing record by a day...that's tough.17.5 mph that's fast by any standard. These guys now have the Guinness World Record for the first multi hull to have been rowed across any of the world's oceans.Well done men ! There was never a statue erected in honor of a critic. They built the boat themselves and rowed it across the Atlantic Ocean ....NUF said !

An interesting video about a very considerable achievement. However, you'd never learn from this that Orca, which Finlay claims is the "fastest ever" (27:29), in fact *lost* her race with Mondiale by nearly three days, or that it was Mondiale that that set a new record time. I don't know if it was Findlay, or VVH-TV that chose to ignore Mondiale's fine performance, but it wasn't very sporting.
