Im 47yo when I was a kid. Your Dad kicked your ass. Now no one hits there kids, but years ago you were afraid to not listen to your parents. I have one sister that beat her kids. My other sister never touched her kids. Both sets of kids turned out great, so to be honest I don't know the answer :). One thing it was a lot more work for the sister that never touched her kids verus the sister that used phyiscal correct :).
