daaa-aaang zero point PAIN is what I call it! I tried this with my Sifu, after one minute I was begging him to let me hit the wooden log again. Good exercise

i like the way he made a good practice tool into a competitive format that allowed when it gets to be to much you can back off but not uncontroled like some sparing i have seen.

Good explanation of Da Saam Sing. Of course there are many ways to train it, and I hope I remember to ask Sharif next time I see him (or hopefully he see's this), but I'm wondering, for the competition, if one competitor uses the TOP-forearm, INNER, then OUTER, instead of INNER, TOP, OUTER, if it's acceptable for the competition. I would imagine that it shouldn't make too much of a difference, but maybe I'll jow up, practice, and try it out. Good stuff!
