This song isnt meant to make you feel bad. The guilt trip isnt the point. The point is to make you think. Make you think twice before picking on people, think twice before wasting food when it can be put to good use feeding families who can't afford to buy their own, make you think twice before just walking by when you see a homeless person on the street. And I don't mean the families in Africa, I mean right here in our area. God knows there is anough of them. If even half of the food we throw

What logical sense does it make to feel guilty over thrown away lunch? After all if you felt guilty enough you'd preserve your lunch and ship it to Africa! Fact is that when you waste something it doesn't hurt anyone, unless you had a way to give it to someone more needy it doesn't hurt them. When I throw some food away the children in Africa are no worse because of it. Somehow we get this rediculous idea that we should feel guilty for wasting what is ours to waste.
