Have you noticed, more cars, more trucks, more road building? Peak Oil deals with the recent world-wide speculation that global oil production has reached its peak and may now be in serious decline. 'Peak Oil' is a short atmospheric documentary film by Larry Larstead and shot in the Northern-Rivers region of NSW, Australia, and tackles the big question: What happens when the oil starts running out?

Here almost all rail tracks are electric. Even the high-speed trains (>300km/h) are electric. And we have a working (electric) public transport system with added busses and some of these going with natural gas.So not all the world is in need to build that as they did already. I feel sorry for the ones still need to as they see a big problem looming.

ATTENTION: Apparently chevron oil (corrupt American oil company) bought the rights to NiMH battery technology so they could prevent auto manufacturers from using it to build more efficient hybrid vehicles and force us to keep buying gasoline. The name of the company that produced the NiMH batteries used to be Ovionic Battery Systems, but Chevron and Texaco bought the company and changed the name to Cobasys and made it impossible for auto manufacturers to buy the batteries. Search it for yourself

That is not possible, because oil and oil products have created an unnatural level of wealth. If oil is taken out, the nature doesn't support as many humans. Though it is recommendable to try use horses as much as you can, of course.
