Here are the memorable titles to Budgie starring Adam Faith from the early 70s. Although the titles don't change, the music seems to have been changed between series; here I have run the titles twice; firstly with the music that I am much more familiar with retrieved from somewhere else (please excuse coughing and other directorial noises) and then with the original music to go with them.

I remember a phrase from the show; Budgie very unenthusiastically trying to lure punters into Charlie's soho girlie joint by saying "They are naked and they move" in a deadpan voice. Great stuff! Personally I was more into Adam Faith than the girls, though ;o)

No; otherwise no doubt I would have used them.

Shut. I just realised that both versions of the theme are in this. But why did you rip the sound for the first titles from the making of documentary? Haven't you got the first series on DVD?

These titles were only used for the 1st series (in 1971). The second series had the same opening graphics but different music.

I became a life long fan of Adam Faith because of Budgie - I loved it and him. Sadly missed

I remember watching the open title being filmed. It was in South Harrow park (just outside London). The "money" was put on the ground and blown away by a giant fan. Then a boy, I helped to collect the paper up afterwards.
