"Bauch" means stomach and "Klang" means sound. So the Name is refering to what they are doing, how they "produce" music. Of course they are using their vocal chords but for comparison: you also say ventriloquist. So maby the best translation for "Bauch" is venter an not stomach. I know it does not make sense to translate a word from german to english "word for word", but if I would do so it would be venter-sound or something like this. I'm sorry my english is not that good, was this helpful?
