yes hittheskins i agree,i was meaning the american instrumental band the ventures took the shadows sound and called it surf music,but i think you will find the shadows were never big in the states,the ventures just rocked it up more.

I love some of this groups stuff. i had 18 of there albums. guitar freakout was my favorite. but im afraid the SHADOWS are in a league of there own .HANK MARVIN is one of the greatest guitarists to grace the planet.the VENTURES are really good . but MARVINS a god HERE . not to mention in the states ask CHRIS ISSAK . were the hell do you think . WICKED GAME and BLUE HOTEL come from .just listen its all SHADOWS INFLUENCE.THE SHADOWS ARE LEGENDS HERE and acknoledged as such

you can pick up an eastwood sidejack which is a mosrite design,they are very good so i hear!
