There's controversy about that. During the Middle-Ages, the Catholic church changed the dates from time to time (the Gregorian Calenders)... A lot of people say that, because of that, Jesus actually was born in september. But it's not sure. Sure, however, is the fact that he wasn't born on christmas evening.
