can u proof that how easy it is to make a copy of blu-ray? there are many advantages of blu-ray technology atm.1. Only SONY knows how to make blu-rays atm.2. Yes, indeed it is expensive also to pirate blu-rays atm.3. I guess it is easy to make blu-ray copies in a way, cuz most of the laptops that r manufactured by SONY comes with blu-ray r/w drives now, and u can purchase blank blu-ray discs at any electronic stores.

it's unprofitable to pirate blu ray because of it's low userbase and the moment and the lack of efficient blu ray writters.pirates have began to work on cheaper means of pirating the format. it's really easy to copy/read information from a blu ray disc.

Everything has copyright issues, even in the food industry! ppl tend to make fake snacks to fool their customers. that is why ppl have to find out a way to protect their copyrights efficiently. Blu-ray so far is unhackable, and that is why a lot of companies r supporting it. Maybe in the future ppl will abandon these plastic discs for newer technology, but there isnt anything better than blu-ray so far!

piracy and pre owned sales are the two major reseasons why all major publishers( both in games and hollywood)are planning to ditch the disc format in future.this is because if games/movies can be burnt to a disk by manufacture, the pirates can also copy and burn movies/games in the sameway; in pre owned sales it's the shops that keep pre-owned profits.money is lostthis is damaging; now moveis/games cost literaly millions to make, every sale counts in order to keep makers' jobs alive.

Too bad the blu-ray drive in the ps3 is so slow that data has to be duplicated to the disk because it takes too long for the drive to go back to read something... This kind of negates a lot of the space.
