Hey I was at that show too! Thursday 24th Oct 1963.He did three songs, Hey Bo Diddley,Road Runner,Bo Diddley.I also noted in my diary (I was only 14 !)That the Stones were "rather poor". They sang , Come On ,Some Other Guy , Wanna Be Your Man. Also on the bill was Mickie Most.

Bo didley was so unbealivably good. You just don't have talent like that anymore. George Thurgood is good but even he would bow to Bo didley. Just increadible.

Back in 1963, one of the best shows I ever saw. Everly Brothers,Little Richard, Bo Diddley and some new band opening up for them, THE Rolling Stones. Odeon Nottingham.

Question: I thought The Duchess didn't join Bo didlwy until 1962. This says 1960. Is this the Duchess?
