Yes John Paul started in the 70's but it was not until 1997 that he launched his couture line, this is after he was rejected at Dior in 1997, this brought on Galliano's current 11 years working at Dior! Neo CLEARLY knows his/her shit! Learn some fashion history people before u start talking about others because u guys CLEARLY know nothing! The craftsmanshio of these garments is absolutely unbelieveable. Some details are so intricate it is unbelieveable. Imagine being one of the models and be honored to wear something like that!My favourite look is the lime-green kimono worn over a hand-painted dress.

Gaultier offered himself to Arnault as a candidate for Dior when rumours about Gianfranco Ferre leaving circulated, and was so insulted when he was refused (Arnault made several comments in the press at the time reagrding the incompatability for Gaultier at Dior)that he launched his own haute couture line in 1997.Karl Lagerfeld is at Chanel, Fendi and Lagerfeld. He doesn't do it out of spite, he works for all three because he loves fashion; the same reason Gaultier offered to do Dior.

dont lie. Gautier never thought about dior because he was in competition another designer was at designing for dior and for its haute couture.And i dont think your moher is a long term couture client because i think your saying that to make us think you know everything about fashion
