Lisandro01987: `there are no dark scenes on the movie, not a sinle [sic] 1'You're absolutely right!Well, unless you count the kid stabbing David.And David nearly drowning his brother in self-defense.And his mother abandoning him. And the Flesh Fairs.And David outright murdering another Davidbot in anger. And attempting suicide.And finally being reunited with sorta his mother after TWO MILLENNIA, only to lose her FOREVER that day.But other than those, no dark moments at all!

This movie is notable for being the last one to show Manhattan in the relatively near, and, towards the end, the far distant future (over 2,000 years), with the World Trade Center Twin Towers still existing (albeit somewhat the worse for wear).In reality, the Towers didn't even last six months past the release of this movie. :-(The original Spider-Man also had a WTC Twin Towers scene, but it was cut before release because 9/11 happened in the interim.

I saw this movie around the same time you did, however...I haven't seen it since. I've always loved this movie. I sympathized for David, especially when his brother came back...and when he found another David in some office. "I'M DAVID!"...it hit me hard
