my beagle biscuit does the same trance like mode it always makes me think of the analogy like a nervous itch or something ears turn off and tail kicks in

Our beagles do the same thing. Especially the older one...it's like he's in trance. I heard that when they make that sound it's to say, "Hey, I've found something."

We love our beagles and we adopted them both from the SPCA. They're great dogs! :o)

Agreeing with OfEarthy. One will get very lonely and get bad separation anxiety. They're pack animals, so YOU are their pack. Beagles are better behaved in pairs because they always have someone to play with. On a side note... they'll both get better exercise and are less prone to get fat.

please consider rescuing beagles - if you get 2 they will be so much happier!

i have a question. i would love to get a beagle ,but for some days of the week, my family is at work and im at school for 6 hours. Is this really bad? could i let it in my backward or something? This is the only thing stopping my family from getting one. |
